  Jan Antrobus

Jan is also a founding teacher at Epping Music School, and teaches Singing, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute and Recorder

Vocals, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone

My musical background was all based in Manchester where I grew up and trained. I have worked hard in the fields of both music and
fashion, although music is TRULY where my passion lies. I have spent the last 10 years nurturing incredible talents in every aspect of my musical world.

I currently have students working towards the highest levels in all my areas of teaching and regularly prepare students for music
scholarships / stage school auditions / show auditions. I honestly LOVE most genres of music (….just can’t relate to thrash metal still!)

I’m a mother of 3 growing children and totally relate to children / young adults… although I still refuse to do a single TIKTOK dance!

A few of my students are now starting to teach in their individual fields, which makes me INCREDIBLY proud. I have organised numerous concerts, workshops, worked with choirs, vocal coached professional singers, performed as a professional musician, enjoyed an incredibly successful Ed Fringe run, of course some incredible lockdown / remote work as well.

Joel and I have shared many similar experiences in our careers and are now collectively focused in our goal to provide the best possible music tuition to our local community.. so next step for us.. THE EPPING MUSIC SCHOOL

Piano, Singing and Flute

Hi! I’m Hannah, and I am very proud to be one of the teachers at the Epping Music School!

I sing and play the piano and the flute. Besides my ABRSM and Trinity graded exams, I have two diplomas: one in musical theatre performance from the London College of Music, and one in piano from ABRSM.

Since the summer of 2019, I have been teaching local students in piano, flute, and voice across a different range of abilities and ages, specifically piano. Whether it’s their first steps in music or their graded exams, I am happy to help where I can. My aim is to help my students reach and realise their full potential in their musical ability.

I look forward to meeting you!
