Terms and Conditions

 

  • Since the school pays rent in advance, we request payments for room hire to be made ahead of the month as well. 

  • We will contact you on the 15th of each month to confirm how many hours of room hire you require in the following month. You should expect the payment terms on the invoice to be due the 1st of the following month, regardless of when you let us know your booking request.

  • Please be advised that a late payment fee of £10 will be applied if we don’t receive payment by the 10th of the month. You will receive a reminder of late payment to settle your outstanding invoice.

  • A payment is considered to be “late” when it passes agreed credit term stated on the invoice

  • We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation if we are not paid according to our agreed credit terms. Interest will accrue from the 10th day of the month that the invoice should have been paid.

  • In the event of adding new students mid-term or booking additional hours, please contact Justyna to check availability of the room before confirming new lessons and then to be added to your invoice. 

  • There are no refunds or reschedules for bookings cancelled within less than 24 hours notice.

  • Rescheduled lessons will be offered during EMS quiet times - guaranteed availability during school holidays for the foreseeable future and also Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Make-up lessons may also take place at an alternate time/day within the week when the room is available. 

  • When you book your rescheduled lessons, please make sure you let Justyna know that it's in place of a cancelled lesson so you are not charged twice.

  • Make-up lessons not used after 3 months will be considered forfeited

  • You are not obliged to take up our offer of the free catch up time available

  • If for any reason (including teacher's sickness) you can no longer attend a booked slot, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer you a reschedule slot (no refunds are offered once room bookings have been placed). If you give us less than 24 hours' notice you will remain liable to pay the full fee for that slot as if it had taken place. Under no circumstances do we offer refunds.
